When we make blessings idols

As believers our first priority is suppose to be God and his will for our lives, but sometimes unaware, we will move him from his first place position. In this walk of faith, we have to be careful because God is so good and blesses us so much that we can mistakenly make idols out of our blessings. When this takes place and we do not come into knowing our idolatry, things can be shaken until we come to a place of repentance. I am a living witness to subtle idolatry, and when we fail to make God number one, we welcome disarray into our lives. However, the good news is that God is just and faithful to forgive us. Restoration awaits all who turn to him, and seeks first his kingdom.
